On television, at the gym, in schools, and at the workplace, there is a buzz around the "mind-body connection." More and more individuals are exploring practices such as meditation, breathwork, mindful eating, and yoga in order to feel a sense of wholeness and achieve personal growth. Where did these practices come from, and how might they evolve into the future? This program will provide insight into the cultural moment we find ourselves in, and contextualize it by considering how these deep practices have appeared in the past and where they might go in coming years.
